My Hair Dye Experience

A few weeks back I asked my dad if I could dye my hair, which then he said why would you want to damage your healthy hair. This made me think I will be damaging my hair but if I don't like it tough, I will be living it for up to 6 months before I could cut it off, so I told him this and he agreed so after my hairdressing appointment I went to Boots and got a dark hair colour (not going to metion the name) and pantene coloured hair shampoo. So when I got home I read all of the instructions in which I had to a patch test 48 hours before you dye your hair (vital to do if you are going to dye your hair.) So I did that and as soon as I put it on I hoped that I will have no reaction so one day in of my test my ear was burning, itchy and red which buy this time I was proper freaking out so on the box it said wash off, when symptoms are most extreme. So that was me done I got in the shower and got all of it off. So that mean't was allergic to ammonia or PPD, my aunt is a beautcian and knows about this stuff and she said to me that I was allergic to both... oh great this means yeah I probably could get some hair dye with no ammonia but hair dye without PPD anit gonna happen. This moment was so upsetting for me, always going to be stuck with brown locks when my friends could have any colour hair under the sun.

Researching on my laptop helped alot, I found out its really common and I was lucky to of washed it off quick other wise I would of ended up burned. So I looked at hair dyes for people with the allergy and they were so expensive £48 pounds was the cheapest and where did I go next for all homemade products... LUSH they have permenant hair henna and its not damaging for the hair and easy to use. And only £7 for 350g. So I went ahead and bought it and I will blog about how to do it and a review and all that jazz.

So I hoped you like my post and I will be back soon xx
